As you probably know, these were made with the pill lock ignition. This is the earliest revolving fire arm patented in the US. A number of different makers made these under the Miller patent. Only a few hundred were estimated to have been made by all makers. On this one you will find a 28", .52 caliber, smooth bore, and an octagon barrel. The bore is pretty nice with no pitting issues. It is even somewhat shiny. The action is smooth and tight. The cylinder is tight with no extra movement. Sometimes you have to push the trigger forward after it has been pulled. The wood to metal fit is excellent. I did not find any markings on the metal, other than some nice engraving on the lock. There is also some light engraving left on the cylinder as well. I've had several of these and this might be the best one. It will make a great addition to your collection.
