Bore in the 3 3/4" barrel is shiny with strong lands and grooves. It does have light pitting. No issues and does not affect the way it shoots. The bore will rate a seven on a one to ten scale. Along with the pistol you will receive a Colt Archives letter which confirms the nickel finish. It was made and shipped in 1924. The nickel on this pistol is original. It has not been messed with at all. There is some flaking on the right side of the slide. Please look at all the pictures. They clearly and fairly show the condition. The last picture is a blow-up of the flaking on the slide. Action is smooth and tight. It works perfectly. Markings are clear and original. Magazine is correct for the 1908 of the period. It could be original to the pistol, but no way to tell. I believe the pearl grips to be original Colt. There is damage to the bottom of the left side and the backing has been replaced. Both are clearly shown in the pictures. This Colt 1908 .380 is not mint, but is in overall nice condition. I believe it is priced fairly based on the condition. It will make a very good looking addition to your collection.
