I do have the original Colt letter. It shipped November 17, 1930 to White Hardware Company located in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Bore in the two-inch-barrel is bright and shiny, shows little use and will rate a nine on a one to ten scale. Action is smooth and tight. It works perfectly. Numbers do match. Markings are clear, correct, and original. A high percentage of the original blue finish remains. There is some wear on the edges. You will find some freckling on the right side, but not much. Just want you to know. Grips are free from any damage. The checkering shows normal wear from use. Overall this is a nice Square Butt Detective Special. These were not made very long and are the most desirable. Pictures are more than fair as to the condition of the pistol.
