Item ID #2170

The pistol was shipped to County of Wayne, Michigan, county jail, Detroit, Michigan. It was shipped on March 30, 1932. Eighteen guns were in the shipment. The butt is marked WCS 7. Bore is bright and shiny, no issues. Action is smooth and tight. It works perfectly. Markings are clear, correct, and original. There are no cracks or chips in the wooden grips. A high percentage of the original blue finish remains on the barrel, cylinder, front strap and frame. The backstrap has faded. Based on the wear to the grips and backstrap, I would guess the pistol was carried throughout it's career. Here is good chance for you to add a nice Banker's Special to your collection.
