These ae very unique carbines. The Hall Model 1833 .52 caliber US Cavalry Carbine was issued to the 2nd US Dragoons in the Florida Seminole War. It is the first military percussion and the first breech loading carbine. Bore in the 26" barrel shows the use you would expect. It does have some pitting, but nothing too bad. Not an issue. Action works perfectly. Wood to metal fit is good. It does show use. The bayonet looks to be original. It does remain in place as it should. Both ears are on the retainer. I did find two cartouches. Both are pictured. The Hall Carbines have a great history. This piece will make a great addition to your collection. It did not sit around while it's ken were out working.
