Bore in the 23 1/2" barrel has good lands and grooves. There is some pitting, but not bad. It will rate a seven on a one to ten scale. No issues. Action is silky smooth. Dust cover slides freely on the rail. Original blue remains on the magazine tube, barrel, and receiver. Some traces of case color remains as well. Wood to metal fit very good. You can plainly see in the pictures there is a chip out of the butt plate and stock. Wood does show use, but overall is pretty nice. If you have never shot a Bullard, you need to. They are well known for their smooth action. This one is no exception. It is a 40/90 which will be a lot of fun.
