Item ID #2090

Date of manufacture is 1912. The Cody letter says it shipped to W.H. Hoegee Hardware Company; Los Angeles, Ca. As an interesting side note, Hoegee Hardware was a favorite hang out of Josie and Wyatt Earp during the time they lived in Los Angeles. They purchased mining supplies for the gold claims they were working in the Mohave desert. Bore in the 7 1/2" barrel is bright and shiny with good lands and grooves. There is slight pitting. It will still rate an eight on a one to ten scale. Action is smooth and tight. It works perfectly. Cylinder lockup is tight. Grips are original and numbered to the pistol. Fit is perfect. They do show use which is clearly shown in the pictures. All markings are correct and original. Barrel address is complete. Original blue and case color remains. If you would like to add an original and untouched Colt Single Action Army to your collection, this one would be a good choice.
