Annette and I just returned from Shawnee, Ok. We attended the 5th annual Indian Territory Antique & Collector Arms Show. It was held August 12-13, 2017 at the Heart of Oklahoma Expo Center. The facility is very nice and comfortable for a gun show. The next show will be held August 11 & 12, 2018. I highly recommend this show. Wes, Matt, and others have worked very hard to make this show a success. They are succeeding. This years show grew by around 50 tables. If the future can be predicted by the past, next years show will grow as well. If I remember correctly the table count was just short of 200. You know what, there was not one table covered in black guns. Did not see a single T-Shirt for sale nor any cammo. What I did see was a documented Winchester 1866 rifle that belonged to Buffalo Bill. I saw another well documented gold plated and engraved 1866 that belonged to Calamity Jane. There were other historical pieces displayed. As I have said before and will say again, you need to get tables or at the very least attend this excellent show. We need to support Matt and Wes. As collectors it is important for us to support the younger generation. They are our future and we need them right now more than they need us. I have taken a lot of pictures showing the antiques and related items. I also took a lot of pictures of the OLD and COLLECTIBLE guns. Enjoy!!! If you have any questions feel free to contact me. My phone number and email contact is available here on my website. I have no financial interest in this show. Everything said is my opinion only. I own the website so I can write whatever I want.
