BLUNDERBUSS EXPERIMENTAL HENRY KNOCK
Item ID #1802
Overall length is 31". Barrel is about 15 1/2". Muzzle measures about 1 1/2". Very interesting piece. It is an experimental inside hammer flintlock blunderbuss by Henry Knock. It does have the Ordnance Department broad arrow. The rear of the lock is marked TOWER. Forward there is a crown over GR. Markings on the lock are clear and easy to see. The brass barrel is proofed with a LONDON marking. Action is smooth and tight. It works perfectly. Wood is in pretty nice condition, especially for a piece made in the early half of the 1800's. The brass barrel is in very good condition. You will like the blunderbuss. It will make a great addition to your collection.
