COLT 1903 U.S. PROPERTY WITH ORIGINAL RECEIPT
Item ID #1708
I have taken a lot of pictures with different light. You will like the pistol. I have the original receipt from February 8, 1946 when 1st. Lt. Henry L. White purchased it from Springfield Ordnance Depot. Cost was $28.75. Pistol was manufactured in 1942. Bore is bright and shiny. It will rate a nine on a one to ten scale. Action is smooth and tight. It works perfectly. Grips are very crispy. They show little use. Finish rates 99%. There are some scratches. The only one that is easy to see is the one on top of the slide behind the ejection port. It is clearly shown in the pictures. Markings are correct and easy to see. Number on the slide matches the number on the frame. Magazine is correct and excellent. I also have a box and the instruction sheet. The instruction sheet probably sold with the pistol to Lt. White. The box could have been with the pistol when sold to Lt. White, but who knows. There are no numbers and nothing to indicate otherwise. This pistol will make a nice addition to any collection.
